By creating an account and using ClipTunes ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ClipTunes lets you create and share playlists of YouTube video segments — you pick a video, trim a start and end point, and play your clips back in sequence. ClipTunes does not host or store any video content. Playback happens via YouTube's embedded player, and your use of that player is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Accounts are for one person each — please do not share an account.

4. User Content

You own your playlist data — the playlists, clips, trim times, and notes you create. Playlists you mark public or unlisted are visible to others, including anyone who has the playlist's link. You must not use the Service to infringe copyright or to circumvent restrictions YouTube or content owners place on videos.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Infringe the intellectual-property rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or other users' accounts
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service in bulk
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular YouTube video will remain available for playback.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClipTunes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post any changes on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
